Choose the studio if you’d rather skip the audience. Private, warm, properly lit and completely immune to London weather. A crisp, polished look.
Choose outdoors if you like it relaxed. Natural light, a bit of city behind you and an easy stroll between spots. If the weather turns, we use sheltered spots.
The studio’s door number and access details are sent within 12 hours of booking. Outdoor meeting points are confirmed after booking.

Most clients feel that way at first. Dan gives you clear, practical direction throughout, so you do not need to arrive knowing how to pose. If you’d rather nobody was watching, book a Monday or Tuesday studio session. Here's exactly what happens in a headshot session.
Studio or outdoors: which should I pick?
Both get you natural, professional headshots you’ll actually use. Pick the studio for privacy, a crisp lit look and a booking the weather can’t touch. Pick outdoors for a relaxed session in natural light with a bit of London behind you. Your booking day sets the location, so just choose the day that suits.
What if it rains?
Monday and Tuesday sessions are indoors at the ZBS studio, so the weather doesn’t get a vote. Our outdoor locations have covered shooting spots. Bring an umbrella for moving between them. If you have concerns about the forecast for your appointment, get in touch.
What should I wear?
Choose something you would wear professionally and feel comfortable in. Done includes one outfit; Dialled and Loaded allow up to two. More detail in our guide to what to wear for a headshot.
When will I get my photographs?
Finished images are delivered within three working days. For delivery within one working day, choose the +£19 booking link beneath your package.
